"Sue White's watercolor classes are about so much more than basic technique & theory. She taught me to truly see. Now, whether looking at a pile of laundry, a landscape or a minute detail, I see colors, lighting and compositions in ways I wasn't capable of before. As she taught me to see and find my own perspective of the world around me, she also coaxed and encouraged me to capture my views in paint. Sue's talent lies not only in her art, but also in her ability to teach."

| Watercolors on the Coast of Maine: ELDERHOSTEL WORKSHOPS 2010 |
The Maine coast has beckoned water colorists for years. Its brilliant, crisp, sparkling water and bold granite shores inspire land and seascapes from sunrise to sunset. Discover a charming and historical seafaring town and waterfront through the eyes of an artist. All students will receive one-one-one instruction by a professional watercolorist and teacher in both classroom and plein air settings. Beginners are introduced to basic techniques and brush usage while the more advanced “brush” up on their basic skills. Everyone will discover, learn, create and laugh while painting by the sea. Unleash your creative potential in this hands-on workshop for beginning and intermediate level painters. |
