Directions and Accommodations:

Searsport and Belfast Maine are two towns right at the center of Maine’s seemingly endless coastline.

Belfast is our town……just 5 miles South of Searsport and the studio/ campground.  You’ll find plenty of reasons to wander the shops, eat the great food, enjoy the harbor and just soak up the atmosphere…the galleries alone will fire your inspiration and satiate any space left in your soul for more color and texture. Enjoy the music and dance in the street on Thursday nights, attend our Friday Gallery Walks  with performers on the street and a dozen studios and galleries open. Many are making Belfast their destination and using it as a hub to explore the area. * Susan's gallery is located here! (High Street Studio & Gallery)

Searsport is a village that offers the kind of downtown experience that begs you to wander,  maybe finish the day sitting on the fishing pier watching the lobster and sail boats bobbing on the waves. It’s home to the Penobscot Marine Museum a destination in and of itself.

The workshop is hosted at Searsport Shores Ocean Campground…and there’s plenty of room for the smallest tents, the largest RVs and every camping set-up under the sun.  So, if this is how you like to vacation, we hope that you’ll contact them and make a reservation soon.

Not everybody likes to sit by a campfire and drink their coffee at a picnic table.  Lucky for us there are plenty of lodging options within a 10-15 minute radius of the studio to meet every need.  Contact them directly and if you have any problems don’t hesitate contacting us and we’ll try to help with your arrangements.  Consider spending the week~ why rush when there’s so much to see and do within the area?  Contact Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce for a complete listing of accommodations. We  would encourage you to search from Belfast to Searsport as that would place you closest to the workshop.
